Occupational health and safety at AMEPA

AMEPA GmbH always aims to practice its activities in a safe and responsible manner. This means that the company implements an occupational health and safety system (AMS) which is certified by the employers’ liability insurance association. The AMS includes permanent striving for continuous improvement and the targeted integration of occupational health and safety into all operational processes and procedures. The following behavioural guidelines have therefore been defined on this basis:

• Accident prevention and health protection are core elements for ensuring performance and willingness to perform and therefore contribute significantly to our competitiveness.
• Ensuring the safety and health of our staff when they are at work is a top priority.
• Occupational health and safety is an integral part of the executive management task. It is also a part of everyone’s obligations to take responsibility for achieving the goals of occupational safety and health within the scope of their possibilities.
• Occupational safety and health and economic activity are not contradictory terms for our company. Safety and health always have priority over economic considerations.
• The management board and the works council have agreed that the goals of occupational safety and health, including the humane organisation of work, must be pursued jointly.
• In order to protect the environment, our handling of hazardous substances and the resources which we require has to be shaped in such a way that our environmental awareness should enable a good life, not only for the present generation but also for the next.
