AMEPA innovations at the Metallurgy in China

From September 3 to 5, 2024, AMEPA once again participated in the three-day 22nd China International Metallurgy Industry Exhibition in Shanghai.

With ESD 300 and ESD 400, AMEPA presented its most advanced electromagnetic slag detection products. As the world market leader, AMEPA’s two measuring systems enable the early and reliable detection of slag flows even faster and even better, thus further optimizing the quality of the steel. A technological leap forward: The ESD 400 has a second detection channel that detects slag particles even before the slag flow begins. In addition, both systems make an important contribution to operator-free operation on the casting platform. With these products, AMEPA is making a decisive contribution to the conservation of resources, sustainability and safety and – despite the tense situation in the steel industry – is generating noticeably great interest.

By participating in this trade fair, AMEPA is underlining its claim to be the world market leader in electromagnetic slag detection. This event provides us with a valuable platform for constructive discussions with customers and suppliers, many of whom we have been friends with for many years.

With over 30 years of history, Metallurgy China, the largest plant engineering exhibition in Asia and the second largest in the world, attracts exhibits from the foundry, metallurgy and industrial furnace sectors of the automotive, machine tool, shipbuilding, machinery, rail transportation and other manufacturing industries.
